The 41st Hong Kong Film Awards held its red carpet event on April 16, 2023, at the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront promenade outside the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, followed by the award ceremony at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Grand Theatre. This year's award ceremony marked the return to the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Grand Theatre after a four-year hiatus.

This marked the first time in the history of the award ceremony that such an environmentally friendly approach was adopted, incorporating zero-emissions concepts throughout the event.
