Affordable Art Fair Hong Kong 2017 will feature over 110 local and international galleries, showcasing a wide range of contemporary paintings, original prints, photographs and sculptures from a vast array of established artists and rising stars – all priced between HK$1,000 and HK$100,000.They are proud to present their first art salon ‘ARTFUL’ with TEDxHongKong featuring the Connor Brothers and Cath Love among other stellar artists! At the same time, their annual Young Talent Hong Kong and Special Projects introduced immersive works of local and international artists, and visitors were given the opportunity to unleash their inner artist in the art history creativity workshop’s and children’s art studio!
The fair aims to encourage people to engage with and own art, showcasing work for every taste and at a widely affordable budget. With a vast array of work and activities available for visitors, here’s our guide of what to see, do and potentially buy at the Affordable Art Fair this weekend.
For the younger visitors, they can enjoy themselves at the fun-filled workshops for kids with the Children’s Art Studio. Leave the kids in the safe hands of a well-loved early childhood learning centre to expand their creativity, learn and play whilst you take advantage of browsing the galleries in peace. The Children’s Art Studio is open throughout the public days, offering a host of activities for ch ildren aged between 2-8 years to let their creative juices flow.
